Hi, I’m Maggie.
I grew up in a tiny farming town in central Indiana. Being restricted gave me a love for travel. By the time I graduated high school, I had traveled up and down the east coast, and spent a month living in Japan as a foreign exchange student.
In 2006, I moved to Jacksonville, Alabama. I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2009, receiving an accredited degree in public relations, with a minor in anthropology (focusing on transpersonal and primatology). In 2010, I moved back home to Indianapolis and began my professional career hunt.
I (very luckily) landed at One Click Ventures, a small family-owned company that owns e-commerce stores, and they hired me as a SEM account manager. Not knowing what it was, I dove head first into search engine optimization, and I fell in love.
When I’m not trying to dominate google, I’m leading a pretty relaxed life. I love orangutans (baby ones, especially), experimenting with new recipes, meeting new friends, listening to music, and drinking all the red wine I can. Be forewarned, I’m a huge museum nerd. I blame my awesome internship at the Anniston Museum of Natural History.
